I was looking for a light brake set that wouldn't break the bank. What I was looking for was Campy stopping power with less weight, at half the cost. I knew that Sram was out of consideration due to flex and lack of stopping power, so I scoured eBay for something that would fill the bill...no luck.
Then I remembered Planet X. To make a long story short, all things considered, these are the best brakes I have ever used. Wicked light and with stopping power approaching Campy for less than half the Campy price. The clever design effectively makes these brakes dual-pivot at single-pivot weight. Beautiful machining and titanium parts just make these a great value and a joy to use.

Great looking brakes on par with new 105's

I replaced my 105's for these and the work great I still have a little tweaking to get the centered but they are very nice. I do wish the mounting nut was metal and not plastic but I did use the old ones from my 105's. I went with the shiny silver and they go great with the shiny ksyrium Elites I am rolling. I had some kool stop salmon pads in new condition so I will save the swiss stop pads for spring and summer. I like the feel and set up was not that difficult. Great product Planet X
